Try something truly wild: Writing in Nature – Fridays starting May 22
Open your senses and let nature be your inspiration and guide. Our four weekly excursions–meeting in a different location each week–will begin with a slow, gentle walk through a unique natural landscape, pausing at opportune spots to breathe in, observe, absorb, and express on the page. Writing on old-fashioned paper with pen or pencil, we will deepen our observational skills, taking note of how words and thoughts transform under the subtle and powerful influence of the natural world. Locations in Essex or Morris County, NJ.

for Teens Who Love to Write!
Three week-long sessions: July 13-31
If your teen loves to write, The Writers Circle’s Summer Creative Writing Intensives are the place to be. Students develop their voices and writing ideas in a generous, creative environment with professional authors as instructors. Each week they’ll choose from two different genres to focus on – fiction, poetry, sci-fi/fantasy, and more. They’ll focus on their own writing projects as well as new work inspired by creative exercises and prompts, and receive supportive, constructive feedback from instructors and peers. Literary inter-activities and group writing adventures, plus a reading on Friday will round out the week. They’ll also have the chance to submit their work for publication in The Writers Circle’s online journal.
We’re filling up fast ~ Join us for one, two, or all three weeks!
